Paint Your Own Wall Borders

Painting straight wall borders yourself is not a hard thing to do if you know the tricks.

Here are the Step-by-Step instructions on how to do that yourself:

  1. Measure up the height of the border you want and make a light pencil mark.

  2. Continue to mark around the room or along the wall, do this every one or two feet.

  3. Connect the marks and draw a straight line using a ruler or any straight edge.

  4. Place two inch wide Masking Tape along the top or the bottom of the pencil line depending on which side you want to paint.
Press the masking tape down firmly to make sure that the paint won't be seeping under the tape.

    TIPS:

Want to draw a straight line on the wall? Here is how:

    • Measure up the width of the line wanted from the first line already drawn and make another pencil line. Use the same steps above.

    • Place two inch wide Masking Tape along the top or the bottom of the pencil line depending on which side you want to paint.

    NOTE:

Masking Tape or also known as Painter's Tape or Paint Tape is specially made for protecting surfaces when we paint. It's easy to put on and it's easy to remove.

  5. Paint in the area you want to paint and leave it to dry.

  6. Remove the masking tapes.

Voila.... You've got a professional wall border!

Not hard at all, isn't it? :)
